The bus from Oahu was one of a dozen health fair agencies and booths that provided screenings and information at the sixth annual event held by the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii and presenting sponsor Farmers Insurance Hawaii.

SECOND PHOTO: Sherilyn Otsubo applauds daughter Kristen, 7, after the Pomaikai Elementary School 1st-grader was called on to sing Katy Perry's song "Hot n Cold" with Jimmy Mac and the Kool Kats. Band singer Joette Burke said she spotted the youngster singing along and could tell she knew every word, so she jumped offstage and handed Kristen the microphone to let her finish the song. For her efforts, Kristen earned applause from the crowd and her mom.
