Filipino "Peping" Ballesteros Valencia, 79, of Lahaina, Maui, passed away on April 15, 2012, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on December 22, 1932 in Peralta Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Filipino retired from Maui Land & Pineapple Company. He is survived by his wife, Eugenia Valencia; sons, Roger (Sally) Valencia, Arthur (Tara) Valencia, Ronnie (Erlin) Valencia, Orlino (Leticia) Valencia, Edward (Julie) Valencia, Richard (Marilyn) Valencia; daughter, Shirley (Elizer) Companero; siblings, Aurelia Abes, Manito Valencia, Lina Pillos; 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6pm-9pm on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church, with mass beginning at 7pm. Visitation will also be held from 8:30 am-10:30 am on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; prayer service will start at 10:30am with burial to follow at 1pm at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku.
