HALEAKALA - The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a wind advisory for the summit of Haleakala until 6 p.m. today.
Winds of 25 to 30 mph and gusts up to 45 mph are expected.
Driving could be difficult in such conditions, especially in high-profile vehicles. Extra caution is urged.
