Katsumi Hanada, 96, of Wailuku, Hawaii, died on April 18, 2012 in Wailuku,
Hawaii. Private services were held. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Mr. Hanada was born on April 16, 1916 in Wailuku, Hawaii. He was the co-owner and operator of Hanada Service Station, a member of World War II's esteemed 100th Battalion, and an avid golfer, bowler, and tennis player.
He is survived by his wife, Fumie Hanada; daughters Gail (Daniel) Kawahara, Wendy (George) Choi, Diane Hanada; sisters Itsue Hanada and Narue Hanada; grandchildren Dana Agarano, Jonathan Choi, David Choi; great-grandchildren Sarah and Jacob Agarano.
