Sadako Ito, 96, of Wailuku, formerly of Honokowai, died on March 21, 2012 at the Convalescent Home of Honolulu.
Private services were held on Oahu and Private burial was held on Maui.
Nakamura Mortuary & Diamond Head Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Mrs. Ito was born on July 17, 1915 in Lahaina and was raised in Puukolii.
She was a homemaker and worked at Nagasako Variety Store.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Kenji Ito and is survived by her daughters, Martha (Alvin) Fukunaga of Maui and Karen (Leroy) Ujimori of Honolulu; a sister, Kay Sakuma of Honolulu; three grandchildren, Tammi Ishikawa, Chad Fukunaga, Troy Ujimori and 4 great grandchildren.
