Goodwill to hold job fair Monday for retail store

KAHULUI - Goodwill Industries of Hawaii will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to interview prospective employees for its Maui retail store, set to open in June in Kahului.

The new store is set for a "soft opening" June 15 at 250 Alamaha St. It will be Goodwill's first store on Maui and its 10th statewide. A grand opening will be held June 30.

The store takes donations of "gently used" clothing and household items. It is a place for "local bargain hunters to find great deals," according to an announcement.

Store hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Job openings include managers, lead sales clerks, sales clerks, production workers and drivers.
