HONOLULU (AP) - After arresting and then releasing two men, police have arrested a third man who they believe was the gunman in a shooting at a Honolulu complex building last week.

Wellington Faleafine, 38, was taken into custody Saturday at his home on suspicion of attempted murder, KITV-TV reported Sunday.

A 43-year-old woman at the home also was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution, police said. Her name has not been released.

Officers had previously arrested Brandon Jamile, 26, and David Makilan, 30, in connection with the shooting of a 27-year-old man at the Nuuanu Garden Apartments at about 10 p.m. Thursday. Jamile and Makilan were released pending further investigation.
