Wake up, Maui, now. All over the country wars are being waged against the smart meters that are being installed without our permission and without giving us any real knowledge. All the spew that is coming out about smart meters being green and good for the consumer is lies. Smart meters are costing us right now as our tax dollars are paying for them through the U.S. Department of Energy and will end up with all of our electric bills going higher.
Google "dangers of smart meters" to see that smart meters are being banned in many countries and cities. Lawsuits are being filed to stop the forced installation of these very dangerous meters in many places. Kauai is waging an all-out war against the utility there (see stopkiuc.com). Maui Electric Co. and all proponents fail to tell us that by having a smart meter on our homes or even near our homes that people will be radiated day and night - all the time. Smart meters are just like cell towers but now will be right on houses constantly. Smart meters will be right on homes radiating residents and their children 24/7.
Wake up and rise up against so-called smart meters and cell towers before it is too late for all of us - especially children on Maui.
