Lillian Hinayo Kobayashi, 90, of Haliimaile, died May 7, 2012 at Maui Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be May 16, 2012, 9:30 am, at Nakamura Mortuary, with memorial service at 10 am. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm, Maui Veteran's Cemetery, Makawao, Maui.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Kobayashi was born on Dec. 11, 1921 in Lahaina, Maui. She retired from Royal Lahaina Hotel.
She was pre-deceased by husband Yoshio Kobayashi, daughter Jayne Rico, brothers Paul and Rex Takiguchi.
She is survived by daughters Heidi Boley, Claire Kobayashi; son Dean Y. (Karlyn) Kobayashi; sisters Toshie Matsuyama, Katsuko Enoki, Yoshiko Fujiwara, Heidi (Robert) Takitani, and Stella (Mits) Tamura; brother William (Remy) Takiguchi; grandchildren Justin Boley, Tricia and Tamra Takemoto, Ryan and Austin Rico, and Trenten Kobayashi.
Lillian loved the ocean and her favorite pastimes were oama fishing and ogo picking.
