Recently I received one of those letters from Hawaii Energy. It is the letter where electric usage is compared to 100 neighbors.
Who authorized the release of my electric usage? That should be private, no?
Now, I must apologize for my neighbors not using as much electricity as I do. They must not have read that Hawaiian Electric Co. needs more pay raises because too many folks have converted to solar. I will inform them immediately to get their usage up to my standards.
I pay for my electric and see no reason for the socialist state of Hawaii, President Barack Obama or anyone else to be involved in my personal choices.
