Festivities for children’s sake

The 12th annual event drew hundreds of visitors and residents during three days of festivities that included a kickoff movie night Friday and Japanese festival Saturday. There was Japanese food, entertainment and an o-bon dance Saturday.

Second Photo: Attendees enjoyed a full schedule of entertainment, food booths, crafts and exhibits at the Japanese cultural event, whose theme was "Kodomo no tame ni," or for the sake of the children.
