Yoshiyuki "Pop" Imai, 91, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on May 14, 2012, at his home under Hospice care. He was born on August 12, 1920, in Wailuku, Maui.
Service will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Wailuku Hongwanji Mission.
Yoshiyuki retired from Fuku Construction as a Carpenter Foreman. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and traveling to Vegas.
Pop is survived by his wife of 68 years, Haruye Imai; son, Jerry Imai; daughters, Janice Kitagawa, Sharon (Raymond) Otsubo, Sharleen Toyama, Aimee (Melvin) Arakawa; brother, Hideto Imai, Noboru Imai; sisters, Yoshiko Fujiwara, Miyoko Hamaguchi; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
