Homosexual marriage is a very touchy subject. There is much controversy surrounding this matter because there are a pretty equal amount of people who are for it and against it.
People should be able to marry whoever they want, even if that special someone is of the same sex. I don't understand why marrying a person of the same sex is such a big deal. It's not like, if same-sex marriages are legalized, then you have to be in one.
It's just like how interracial marriage was once illegal and now you see a couple like that and it's normal.
President Barack Obama has recently announced that he is in full favor of equal marriages. A person as powerful as the president of the United States can actually make a difference and maybe even get same-sex marriages legalized.
