Charles "Charlie" Apuna Jr., 62, of Haiku, passed away on May 14, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 27, 1950 in Honolulu.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at St. Joseph Church in Makawao, a Memorial Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Charlie was a Truck Driver with T.J. Gomes Trucking Company and was also a Cattle Rancher.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Caires-Apuna; sons, Kyle Cody Caires, Charles Caires Apuna III; daughter, Charlani (Robert) Apuna Langholff ; father, Charles Apuna Sr.; brothers, Ivan Michael (Alana) Apuna of Maui, Garry Louis (Ida) Apuna of Texas, Benjamin Calvin (Joan) Apuna of Colorado, Wayne Gilbert (Jeanette) Apuna of Nevada; sister, Charlene (John) Padayao of Oahu; grandson, Robert Langholff; and granddaughter, Kaylee Langholff.
