On Mother's Day I took a bad spill in a parking lot in Wailuku. As I was dazed and trying to sit up, holding my bloody nose, my eyes closed, I could hear people coming to help.
A man cradled my back and held me while someone else called 911. Two young ladies were trying to contact the friend I was visiting. I was in good hands.
Moments later it seemed, an ambulance arrived and the paramedics were incredibly professional and kind. They made sure my dog was given to my friend.
The doctors, nurses, X-ray techs and transporters, along with the staff taking information, wiping my face - all and everyone were so kind.
I was a bit dazed throughout but kindness was my lasting impression. I want to express thanks to all of you.
