Interesting to read that teachers will revisit the offer that they don't have (The Maui News, May 17). If only both parties were talking apples and oranges - at least they'd both be talking fruit.
At this point, they should be honing the evaluations and their implementation timetable rather than squabbling like, er, schoolchildren. It's about the keiki, people.
I'm seeing a catastrophic failure of leadership, and both parties are looking seriously lame. Neither is worthy of the respect of the kids, and that's sad.
