Guzman set to hold event Wednesday
KAHULUI - Maui County Council candidate Don Guzman will hold a campaign rally at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Maui Waena Intermediate School's cafeteria.
Guzman, an attorney in private practice, is seeking the council's Kahului residency seat.
The event will include food, door prizes and entertainment. A suggested donation amount is $15.
The candidate will be available to meet voters, talk about his campaign and hear residents' ideas about how county government can be improved.
Guzman is a former Maui County deputy prosecutor. He also served on U.S. Rep. Mazie Hirono's staff as her Maui field representative and was a legislative aide in the state House of Representatives.
On the Campaign Trail is a public service for candidates to publicize fundraisers, public appearances and other campaign-related events. Candidate night fundraiser for Fukuyama
KIHEI - Maui County Council candidate Alan Fukuyama will host a "Meet the Candidate Night" fundraiser from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 5 in the Kamali'i Elementary School cafeteria in Kihei.
Fukuyama is seeking the Kahului residency seat being vacated by Council Member Joe Pontanilla.
The event will have food, entertainment and door prizes. The candidate will be on hand to discuss issues.
