June 6, 2012
The Maui News

Maui Police Department employee Terry Jones was inducted into the Hawaii Law Enforcement Torch Run Hall of Fame and presented with a plaque at a ceremony May 25 at Fort DeRussy in Honolulu.

Jones, who has worked for MPD since 1990 and is secretary for assistant chiefs, has been involved with the Hawaii Law Enforcement Torch Run for more than 22 years.

She coordinates MPD's Troy Barboza Law Enforcement Torch Run, which was held April 21. Because of her efforts, MPD finished third for overall T-shirt sales, with all proceeds going to benefit Special Olympics Hawaii.
