In June 1 and June 3 letters, the specter of George W. Bush is revived as a culprit for a variety of sins.
The main reason is: What can be said about Barack Obama that is positive? He murders U.S. citizens and others via drone, Guantanamo is open and doing well, all the anti-terrorist laws from the Bush era are still in the books and further reinforced, the socialist Obamacare has failed, the administration energy policy points the country to the dark ages, his administration generates one scandal after another, the economy is a disaster and Chicago-style corruption is rampant in the Obama White House. The attorney general is a thug, the majority of the Cabinet members are brain challenged, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid deserve the medal of honor for extreme incompetence.
Put it all together and what could a liberal Democrat writing a letter to the editor possibly say? Ergo, George W. Bush was a bad man. Simplistic. Broken record. History. We are not there anymore.
Just say something positive about Obama or the thugs or the nitwit Democrats in Congress. It will be refreshing.
