Linda Lingle was a George W. Bush/Dick Cheney supporter and proud of it: the Iraq war, the policies, the philosophy. She is being supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Bush-Cheney-Iraq-U.S. Chamber of Commerce. That does not sound independent and bipartisan to me.
