UCLA coach to conduct softball clinic in August
KAHULUI - UCLA softball coach Kelly Inouye-Perez will conduct a clinic Aug. 17-19 at Patsy Mink Field.
The registration fee is $100 per player and $50 per coach until June 30, and $120 per player and $70 per coach after that date until July 28, the final registration deadline. The player limit for the clinic will be 150 players - 75 from 4th through 8th grades, and 75 from 9th through 12th grades.

Wait-list spots available for paddleboard worlds
MAUNALOA, Molokai - Registration for the Molokai-2-Oahu Paddleboard World Championships has sold out, but wait-list spots can be obtained by contacting the event's registration officials at Molokai2Oahu.com.
The 32-mile race across the Kaiwi Channel, from Kaluakoi Beach to Maunalua Bay, is scheduled for July 29, starting at 7:30 a.m.

Maui High bowling sign-up set for June 22
WAILUKU - The Maui High School bowling team will hold a sign-up and meet-the-coaches session on June 22, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., at the Maui Bowling Center.
Tryouts start June 25.
