We all should honor the American flag, especially on days that are honoring our country.
If you do not wish to do so, then renounce your citizenship and move to the country of your choice.
I would like to see a true end to racism, which could only be accomplished if everyone - including and especially the media - would stop identifying people by their ethnicity. There should be no such thing as African-American, Mexican-American, Native American or any other such label. All labels are racist. They were created to further a cause, but nevertheless they are racist.
If you were born in the USA or choose to become a naturalized citizen, then you are an American, period.
Either get involved in the legal processes to effect change to your preferences or get out.
Above all else, be an American.
