State Rep. George Fontaine's fundraiser held at Wailea's Mulligan's on the Blue restaurant on June 8 moved into a happy crescendo later in the evening when Ginai, a Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner, embraced the night with the first song dedicated to Fontaine.
A magical voice, Ginai played to everyone's soul.
Fontaine kept his introduction short in order to have his guests not only enjoy a tasty banquet spread but chose to transform what could have been a political address into a perfect ambiance for his supporters to meet for the first time or to renew friendships and celebrate together.
Everyone was there for one reason only - to raise awareness for supporting the re-election of Fontaine. There was no need to recapture known and well-established achievements that Fontaine continues to perform at the State Capitol. His commitment and conclusive, active results have been evident throughout his post as state representative for South Maui, District 11. Thank you, Rep. Fontaine.
