Alan Fukuyama for council - he values what we value: All of the people all of the time, fairness in taxation, protection of jobs, protection of small businesses, he believes that smart growth leads to a strong economy and in the best business practices to create and promote Maui County as a place to do business by providing tax relief, streamlining the permitting process, getting rid of rules and regulations and ordinances that are outdated and defy common sense.
Fukuyama is a team player yet independent enough to keep Maui moving in the right direction and, most important of all, to engage communities in developing smart growth for Maui.
Al may not be a slick Madison Avenue adman, but his business experience and common-sense approach to moving us forward are what are needed today.
