The June 10 letter about "birthers" failed to mention the most important issue: It doesn't matter where President Barack Obama was born. Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution requires that a person must be a "natural born" citizen to hold the office of president.
To be a "natural born" citizen, both parents must be U.S. citizens. Obama's father of record was not a U.S. citizen.
End of discussion, he is not eligible under the U.S. Constitution.
