Breakfast and car wash to benefit pageant contestants

KIHEI - A pancake breakfast and car wash fundraiser to support Miss Hawaii United States Pageant representatives will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Kalama Heights Retirement Community.

Those attending can support the girls while having a picture taken with Hawaii's queens: Terry Iha, Ms. Hawaii United States; Alison "Bo" Tanaka, Miss Hawaii United States; Jacqueline Kapu, Miss Teen Hawaii United States; and Keli Wong, Miss Junior Teen United States.

A second fundraiser featuring comedian Augie T will be at 7 p.m. June 29 at The Venue on Oahu. Ticket donations are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
