KAHULUI - Maui Mall invites families with school-aged children to attend its Maui Mall Family Sundays event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
This free monthly event will include educational-themed hands-on workshops, activities, exhibits, entertainment , games and prize giveaways. Sunday's event will celebrate the different aspects of home economics, culinary arts and wood shop.
Maui Mall will also recognize select students at center stage for their achievements in academics and character. These students have been nominated by Maui County teachers, then selected by Maui Mall and entered into a student drawing where one student will go home with an iPad and another with an iPod.
Maui Mall will give away one iPad and one iPod at each Maui Mall Family Sundays event. Maui County teachers are encouraged to nominate students, even during the summer, by visiting the Family Sundays link at www.mauimall.com.
