Gilbert Joseph Correa, 86, of Makawao, Maui, passed away on June 16, 2012. He was born on January 19, 1926, in Wailuku, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church; mass begins at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery in Makawao.
Gilbert was a WWII & Korean War Veteran. He retired from the State of Hawaii, Highways Division. He is survived by his son, Kimo (Lisa) Correa; brother, Frank Correa; sister, Connie (Ernest) Mathias; and grandchildren, Kaylee Kilolani Michiko Correa, and Jarin Duke Laakea Michio Correa.
