Joseph "Honey Boy" Momoa Kamaka Sr., 65, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on June 13, 2012, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on September 24, 1946, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will start at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service starts at 11 a.m.; lunch at the funeral home to follow, burial will be at 2:00 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.
Joseph was a highly decorated Marine Corps Veteran and a retired small business owner. Also a retired member of the Sons Of Hawaii MC Maui Chapter.
He is survived by his wife, Ana P. Kamaka; sons, Joseph K. (Jenie Cruz) Kamaka, Oliver N. Kamaka (deceased), Travis U. (Sandi) Kamaka; brothers, Charles Reinhardt, William, Reinhardt, Lloyd Reinhardt; sister, Marilyn Naki; grandchildren, Zachary Kamaka, Ahja Kamaka, Sasha Kamaka, Deana Kamaka, Jessica Kamaka; hanai children, and other extended ohana.
