PHILADELPHIA - Defensive tackle Tevita Finau, a former student at Maui High School and Lahainaluna before graduating from Kahuku, has signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL team reported on its website.
Finau, who as a senior at the University of Utah in 2011 had 37 tackles - five for loss, including three sacks - is joining his second NFL franchise. He originally signed with the Arizona Cardinals in May as an undrafted free agent.
The 26-year-old is listed as 6-foot-4 and 283 pounds.
