The U.S. Coast Guard on Maui is still trying to track down the owner of a blue kayak found Saturday afternoon floating near the Menehune Shores condominium in Kihei.
As of Sunday afternoon, the owner had not been identified according to a Coast Guard spokesman.
An urgent marine information broadcast was issued to see if any mariners in the area could help identify the kayak.

The kayak contained a milk crate, a computer bag with old food, a bicycle helmet and a plastic fishing float, officials said.
