WAILUKU - Five students have graduated from the Wailuku Hongwanji Japanese School.
The were honored during a ceremony May 17 at the temple conducted by the Rev. Shinkai Murakami, principal of the school. In addition to their diplomas from the school, each graduate received a special award. The graduates, their parents and their special awards follow:
Kylie Kira Davis, Chuck and Lori Davis, Certificate of Merit from the Hawaii Educational Fund of Hawaii.

Wailuku Hongwanji Japanese School will resume Aug. 1. Students will be accepted until July 6.
