As a South Maui resident, I oppose the mega-mall project (The Maui News, June 21), and am saddened that the developers don't seem to care about community input or our opinion.
It seems representatives from the company didn't bother to show up to the recent community meeting.
I have emailed my council member and our mayor. Now everyone else who is opposed needs to do the same.
Kihei doesn't need this monstrosity. Let's put a stop to it now.
