SECOND PHOTO: Kristi Kahai (right) said this is the fifth year that her family will be honoring her father, Andrew Kauweloa, and other family members and friends who have have battled cancer. She said the event has helped her family understand that they were not the only ones dealing with cancer, and that there is a whole community of support and fellowship. She said she expected about 50 family members and friends to turn out for their team in the event that was scheduled to run from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. today.
