The Maui News

Fire crews from Lahaina and Napili responded to a report of a capsized boat about 200 yards offshore in Honokohau Bay on Sunday afternoon.

The four male occupants of the boat, which was reported overturned at 2:29 p.m., were safe and did not require medical attention according to Fire Services Chief Lee Mainaga.

Fire officials on a personal watercraft towed the 25-foot fishing boat into the bay, where it was turned upright, bailed and anchored.
