Crews are mopping up after a fire burned about 2 acres of dry brush at The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course on Monday
The fire, located at Maui Lani Parkway and the driveway to the golf course, was reported at 5:16 p.m. and under control at 6 p.m.
The fire burned up to the edge of the road, approximately 50 feet from the nearest homes, according to Fire Services Chief Lee Mainaga.
