WAILUKU -- Former firefighter Juanito Dudoit was sentenced today to a 10-year prison term on a drug charge.
The 49-year-old Wailuku resident was arrested last year after police found 2 1/2 grams of methamphetamine after executing a search warrant for him at the Kahului Fire Station.
He had pleaded no contest to second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Dudoit had been a firefighter for more than 20 years before resigning shortly after his arrest.
