The public is invited to explore alternative health and lifestyles at the free Maui Health Explosion from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Maui Mall in Kahului.
Exhibitors represent a cross section of Maui's mind, body and spirit healing practitioners, as well as health products and services representatives.
Items for sale will include crystals, clothing, jewelry, metaphysical accessories, beauty products, water purification systems and more.
There will also be dancing, live music, psychic readings, yoga, massage sessions, food and product sampling and fitness demonstrations throughout the day.
"This year's event promises an exciting day to learn about healthier lifestyle, beauty and life extension options for people of all ages," said one of the event's promoters, Eric Richter. "It is a wonderful opportunity for the general public to interact with a multitude of healing practitioners who can help them on all levels, body, mind and spirit."
Additionally, the 2012 Maui Health Explosion event is supporting the Maui Food Bank, which recently put out a call for more donations since its food stocks are running low. Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to drop off to the food bank's bin on site.
