Larsen puts up big score

Maui’s Granger Larsen competes in the second round of the Billabong Pro JBay at Supertubes in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa, on Wednesday. Larsen won his round-of-96 heat with a two-wave score of 17.83. Also advancing to the third round of the Association of Surfing Professionals six-star event was fellow Maui surfer Ola Eleogram, who won his heat with a 14.63 total. The event continues today, surf permitting.
