Keiley bows out in second round of match play

MIDWAY, Utah - Justin Keiley of Haiku was eliminated from the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship on Thursday after losing in the second round of match play at Soldier Hollow Golf Course.

Keiley, a Baldwin High School graduate who recently finished his sophomore season at Brigham Young University, lost 3 and 2 to Brad Schneider of Orlando, Fla., in the round of 32.

Keiley had been one of two Hawaii golfers remaining in the tournament. Honolulu's Richard Hattori also lost in the second round, 5 and 4 to California's Derek Ernst.
