Carpenters endorse Hanlon for House
The Hawai'i Regional Council of Carpenters recently endorsed Democrat Colin Hanlon, who is running for the state House 11th District seat, which encompasses Makena, Kihei and Wailea.
The union includes more than 5,000 members in Hawaii, according to a news release from Hanlon.
"Colin has made a career of fighting on behalf of Maui's families, and we know that he will continue that fight in the state House," said Bill Kamai, senior Maui field representative of the Hawaii Carpenters Union.
Hanlon is the chief professional officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui.
