The following students with ties to Maui County have earned academic honors at colleges and universities for the spring 2012 semester. Unless otherwise noted, the grade-point averages are on a 4.0 scale.
SPOKANE, Wash. - Summer Wilkinson of Pukalani has been named to Gonzaga University's President's list for the 2012 spring semester.
To qualify, students must achieve a 3.7 or greater grade point average.

WALTHAM, Mass. - Zachary Ferguson of Lahaina has been named to Bentley University's Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester. To qualify, students must achieve a 3.3 or greater grade point average with no course grade below 2.0 during the term.

LACEY, Wash. - Asmeeta Achari of Kihei, Andrea Lynne Thyne of Haiku and Teilissa Leimomi Tua of Kahului have been named to Saint Martin's University's Dean List. To qualify, undergraduate students must receive a 3.5 grade point average or higher, carry at least a 12-semester-hour course load and complete all coursework undertaken for the semester.
