WAILUKU - Iao Intermediate School will offer additional registration times this week for those who missed the original session.
Students who are currently enrolled in grades 6 through 8 can register from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday in the school's main office. Makeup times for school ID picture taking are from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students who have their picture taken on these days will receive their ID the first day of school.
Students who would like to be exempt from wearing the school uniform can attend the makeup dress code waiver meeting with a parent or legal guardian scheduled at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
The school will accept only cash, cashier's checks or money orders for mandatory school fees, P.E. uniform, meal deposits and bus transportation.
Open House night for 6th-graders will be Aug. 14; for 7th-graders Aug. 15; and for 8th-graders Aug. 21. All sessions will begin at 5:45 p.m. Open House dinner tickets cost $3 each and may be purchased at the office. Dinner tickets will also be sold during the first week of school or until it sells out. No tickets will be sold at the door on Open House night. Parents do not have to purchase dinner tickets to attend Open House night.
Fees for band uniforms, supplies and the 8th-grade Basic Practical Arts lab will be collected by teachers during the first week of school.
Students interested in purchasing the newly designed school uniform short- or long-sleeve T-shirts or hooded jackets may call Automatic T-Shirt Printing Co. at 877-4478.

Sixth-grade students begin July 30 and should go directly to the Dining Center before 7:45 a.m. to meet their homeroom teachers. A backpack, pen, pencil and notebook or binder with filler paper is required on the first day. Students are asked to leave all other supplies at home until further instructions from the teachers or until lockers are assigned.
All students must report to school by 7:45 a.m. July 31. A list of assigned homeroom teachers will be posted outside the Dining Center. Schedules will be distributed in homerooms on the first day of school.
