A candidate forum featuring Maui County candidates in contested raced in the Aug. 11 primary election will be televised 6 to 9 tonight on Akaku Channels 52, 53 and 54.
The forum, sponsored by the Kula and Kihei Community Associations, Akaku and The Maui News, also will be live streamed on Channel 53; go to the Akaku website www.akaku.org and click on "Live."
Maui News reporter Nanea Kalani and former Maui News reporter Ilima Loomis will be among the moderators.
