I think our representative George Fontaine is doing a great job, and I'm happy we still have two parties in Hawaii. How boring if we all thought and voted the same way.
People need to ignore the nasty unfounded comments made by others and listen to our representative. Only then can they make an intelligent decision regarding the job Mr. Fontaine is doing.
He's doing what he's supposed to do by questioning the need for a mega-mall in Kihei and a letter writer (Letters, July 23) had a good idea about the people of Kihei getting together to discuss it.
