The following students with ties to Maui County have earned academic honors at colleges and universities for the spring 2012 semester. To qualify, students must achieve and maintain a 3.5 or higher grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
APPLETON, Wis. - Josie Gomez of Lahaina has been named to the Lawrence University Dean's List. She is the daughter of Robert Gomez and Barbara Newton of Lahaina.
LA GRANDE, Ore. - Melanie Jaramillo of Kahului has been named to the Eastern Oregon University Dean's List.
MISSOULA, Mont. - Kyle Wilcox of Makawao has been named to the University of Montana Dean's List. He is the son of Richard Wilcox and Gina Kim of Makawao. Kyle Wilcox graduated in May from the university with high honors and a degree in human biological sciences with a minor in psychology.
