Lahaina’s newest spot for dining opens doors

FIRST PHOTO: Kahu Earl Kukahiko, a graduate of Lahainaluna High School's Class of 1952, conducts a blessing for the school's new $8 million Hale Pa'ina cafeteria Friday morning.

SECOND PHOTO: The 19,800-square-foot facility provides indoor and lanai dining seating for 650 students. The project architect was Ferraro Choi and Associates. The state-of-the-art cafeteria includes a large stage, a modern kitchen and serving areas, lanai, natural-light fixtures and large cooling fans.
