Remember me, Kane from the Pet of the Week a little while back? Well, I just wanted to brag that I got to go home to an amazing new life. I was one of well over 200 animals that got to go home last month. Now I spend my days in pure bliss with my new ohana. They had come to the shelter to find me, but I wasn't there. I was in foster care for a bite wound that had gotten kinda gnarly. Luckily, my foster mom rushed me right over to meet my new potential family. It was love at first sight and now I'm having the time of my life. My name is now Mater, and I'm getting all the love a dog could ask for from the best family in the world. I can't wait for all my friends that are still at the shelter to get their forever family too.
