Joaquin Kahalehoe Jr., 70, of Haiku, Maui, passed away on August 2, 2012, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on April 9, 1942, in Puunene, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will start at 7:00 p.m.; cremation will follow. The family requests Aloha attire. A private scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
Joaquin was a retired Maintenance Worker at Kula Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kahalehoe; sons, Joaquin Kahalehoe III, William "Billy" Kahalehoe; daughters, Maryjane Kahalehoe, Joelaine (Christopher) DeLuze, Joy (Henry) Puckett; mother, Maryann Kahalehoe; brother, William (Jackie) Kahalehoe; sisters, Margaret P. (William) Kahalehoe-Bair, Joann (deceased) & John Uwekookani; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
