Orion Miyasato-Faris of the Central East Maui Junior (13-14) All-Stars tags out Reese Alexiades of Manhattan Beach (Calif.) at home plate during Maui’s 1-0 loss on Wednesday in the West Regional title game in Vancouver, Wash. Manhattan Beach finished 6-0 in the tournament, and advanced to the Junior League World Series, scheduled to begin Sunday in Taylor, Mich. Maui went 4-2 in the regional.
